Writing activity

This activity's focus is on creative writing, and it's targeted towards students in year 6 that are 11-12 years old. It will be done using the live worksheet shown at the end of this entry on the website liveworksheets . This activity's target audience is 10-12 year-old kids from year 5 or 6. For this reading activity the students will do a quizizz in the ICT room after reading the text from LearEnglish Kids that can be found clicking  here . After reading the text that already appears on the Quizizz, the students will proceed to answer a group of questions that will allow the teacher to see how much of the text they comprehended and to what level. Speaking activity: Guess the character

This activity's target audience is mainly 8-10 year-olds, although it could be done in any year. The idea is to encourage speaking by playing a game where one student is standing in front of the interactive whiteboard, facing the opposite way,  looking at their classmates who give them clues of who the character that appears on the screen is. Listening activity: Drawing while listening

This activity's target audience is 6-8 year-olds (Year 1 and 2) and will be about the book "The Boy with Flowers in His Hair" by Jarvis. Every student will have one piece or two pieces of paper and coloured pencils or crayons.
